Pass Parameter During Search In Screen

Hi,
Is there a way to pass parameter via search in screen?
when i want to search, parameter is not pass to screen and because parameter is required i getting error!

Is this the problem that happens when after you search in a screen that has a required parameter, the search dialog doesn’t automatically pass through the required parameter by default?
