Moqui 4.0 Necessary Improvements

As we’re working on the Moqui 4.0 release, I’d like to get the community together to push for a 4.0 release.

Each vote for this poll is for volunteering for some responsibility in this release. Any volunteers will help, and I’ll contact you if you do vote.

Volunteer for Moqui 4.0 Release
  • Upgrade to Vue 3 Quasar 2
  • Update Javascript Libraries in runtime
  • Switch to default Java 17 (while supporting 11 and 21)
  • Java EE to Jakarta EE Package Name Conversion (evaluate whether this is feasible)
  • Upgrade Existing Libraries in all components, runtime, and framework (gradle gradle dependencyUpdates command)
  • Triage all Pull Requests for all components, runtime, and framework
  • Upgrade OpenSearch
  • Upgrade Postgres MySql in Example Docker Compose Files
  • Update Groovy to latest 3 version
  • Update Gradle latest version

I’d like to contribute in following area:

  • Switch to default Java 17 (while supporting 11 and 21)
